An attempt to creat a few small 2.0 earthquakes results in a 9.0 one along the San Andreas fault, which proceeds to take most of California with it... Frank backsteps, but while at the climax of the procedure, he sees a speedy, "missing link"-type creature, loses control and crashes back without traveling through time. Everyone believes that Frank sabatoged the mission and is going insane... until the time gremlin begina to wreak havoc in public and mess with time at Never Never Land. Also, Frank is introduced to a new female psychiatrist who may be Frank's biggest challenge yet...
