Goran'Agar demonstrated at the end of this episode to Miles and Julian that old Jem'Hadar soldiers don't die, they just fade away. :)
They had a whole planet to crash on and they just happen to crash near where the Jem'Hadar happen to be?
Worf says that he was in security for seven years. Oh really? Yes, Star Trek: The Next Generation ran for seven years, but are we supposed to believe that Worf just got assigned to security prior to Encounter At Farpoint? Also what about the events of Star Trek Generations? The Stardate of Star Trek Generations would indicate that it took place over half a year after All Good Things, which means that Worf has been in security for seven and a half to eight years. Also because Worf replaced Tasha Yar, he must have been second in charge of security, which would indicate that he must have been in security for some time before that.
My nephew, Jon, noticed that the container that held the Ketracel-White was the same as the container that held the baby Jem'Hadar in The Abandoned.
Amazing that when the smuggler enters Quark's that neither he nor Quark think to look up. I should imagine that glancing around would be a reflex action with a criminal.
If Goran'Agar's body is producing ketracel-white then why didn't Bashir take a sample of Goran'Agar cells and transplant it into one of the other Jem'Hadar? It will either produce ketracel-white or be rejected.
This nit could go in any number of Star Trek episodes, but why doesn't shooting an energy beam through a person who is dematerializing effect the transport process?
Why are Tallonian crystals illegal on every planet except the Tallonian homeworld? Are they radioactive? Do they have some kind of addictive quality? Are the Tallonians some kind of mineral based life form and the crystals are their young? Also the name Tallonian crystal is very vague and would seem to mean a crystal from the Tallonian world and does not specify a specific type of crystal. For instance, if someone found a Quartz on the Tallonian homeworld, that could be considered a Tallonian crystal, but Quartz is a very common crystal on Earth.
O'Brien's tricorder certainly makes enough noise.
The Jem'Hadar are searching for O'Brien, but none of them thinks that he might double back to the Runabout? Also the runabout was damaged so that it was forced to crash land, but there is no evidence that O'Brien and Bashir worked to fix whatever was damaged.
Um....Worf wasn't in security during the first
season of TNG, so he is correct in saying he
was in security for seven years

True. His started as lieutenant junior-grade, serving as tactical officer.
Not a nit, just an observation: a lot of speculation over the years over O'Brien's rank.... this ep is one (maybe the only one) that states it clearly. Near the beginning of the ep, a Jem'Hadar identifies O'Brien's rank as Chief Petty Officer.
How come NOBODY on DS9 was wondering what happened to O'Brien & Bashir?
How did the runabout take off again after crash landing on that planet? There's NO MENTION of anyone repairing it!
I love Odo's line about Worf sticking to his own duties and not interfering with his- what the hell does Worf do on that station?
He's the Strategic Operations Officer (TM). He coordinates all Starfleet activity in the sector.
A job which apparently gives him a great deal of free time.
KAM already pointed out how convenient it was that Bashir and O'Brien just happened to crash where the JH were, but after the runabout entered the atmosphere O'Brien said there was a clearing up ahead, and that he thought they could make it. Either they didn't make or Miles' opinion on "clearings" is a bit skewed. Also, they evidently crash landed but the ground must've been extremely spongy because their collision barely shook them up.
I thought it would have been interesting to see Bashir talk Goran'Agar into coming back with him. We could've had a regular Jem'Hadar on DS9.
This episode was directed by the actor who played Odo.
and for $100,000.00, what is that actor's name?
His first name is Rene but I can't spell his last name. He was on "Benson", too.
Auberjonois.
The question was for mr.crusher... boy genious...
There is no need to make that kind of comment. Maybe he could not spell it and did not want to be wrong and risk negative comments about his spelling.
It is very true Dotter that if you mispell someones name on here you will be flamed. And if you flame back then you run the risk of being banned from this site and thats what I was trying to avoid.

Nah, he would've just gone the way of Barash and Jeremy Astor and Mirasta Yale.
Re: How come NOBODY on DS9 was wondering what happened to O'Brien & Bashir?
I think it was mentioned that O'Brien and Bashir were 2 days ahead of schedule in the Gamma Quadrant
Also, I might be missing an explanation, but doesn't it seem odd that Quark would be helping Odo in a criminal investigation?
