Has there ever been a DS9 Clip show like TNG? or Voyager for that matter. TOS had a semi-clipshow with Captain Pike, but it was more of a continuation of the pilot.
Also, Could someone please tell me the episode where bashir is assigned as tour-guide for a bunch of Ambassadors or some other high ranking officai? He and the ambassadors were thought to be dead after a Fireball swept through the corridor. They survived by hiding in a jefferies tub
Q#2: Season 1, "The Forsaken".
No, there's never been a DS9 Clip show per se. The closest thing would be the flashbacks in What You Leave Behind but those are a pretty small part of the episode.
thanks
Where is the actor page for Nog?
Just created a page for Aron Eisenberg.
It's been been brought to my attention that this board is dorment. Because we must prove Josh Gould wrong, I have decided to post something in here.
And yes, I am acting like a coward by not using my name.
Excuse me Moderator. You might want to look at the "Sword of Kahless" board. I believe the language content doesn't belong on a G rated board.
Moderator: that blasted spammer has gotten onto the "Sword of Kahless" board now.
Yeah, he/she has been there all week. Taking care of it now...
*Sigh*
I suppose this is the online equivalent of putting toilet paper in someone's yard....
The things people do to display their idiocy.
It's not being done by a person, DK. It's a friggin' 'bot. It's more like
Some guy drives down the street, indiscriminately putting billboards in everyone's front yard.
Have you considered closing the Sword of Kahless board & creating a second board for the ep?
I think Butch tried that with some Trek boards a while back & it seemed to work.
Hmm, that's an idea. I'll see what I can do.
Done... we'll see what happens.
Marina Sirtis and Jonathan Frakes both referred to "Deep Space Nine" as "Deep THROAT Nine" HA!
I know this doesn't have anything to do with DS9, but perhaps someone here can anwswer this.
Question: How come the Trek and Space: 1999 forums are open to anyone to post, but the Doctor Who forums are not (you have to register to post in there)? The Who forums USED to be open, why the change?
Just curious.
Because the moderator of those boards chose to leave them like that after all the spam attacks.
IIRC the Who boards were heavily targeted.
Thanks for the info.
Question, .
I've noticed whenever a Star Trek convention hosts Mark Alamo, Casey Biggs, and Jeffery Combs Andrew Robinson (Garak) is absent. And whenever he IS in one the others are not at the same event.
Coencidence? or something else?
just courious
Is there ANY hope that Phil will be able to publish nitpickers guides in the future? The four we have are indispensible, but only take us to season 4 of DS9 and do none of Voyager or Enterprise.
No complaints about this discussion board, but I do like finding all the nits in succinct places.
If I remember what other nitpickers have said about this matter correctly, I don't believe Phil will be creating any more books due to a lawsuit. I don't think Phil lost per se, but publishers didn't want to work with him any longer because of it, but I may be wrong about that. Anyone wish to clarify?
Phil wasn't sued, but someone else was, and his publishers got nervous... Even though the Guides were used as evidence of what *WASN'T* infringement.
Ah that's it, sorry for the mix-up. Thanks ScottN! Either way I don't think Phil is even considering getting back into making books, so feel free to look up what his nitpicks are in the archives.
Heck yeah this is eactxly what I needed.
Much of DS9's cast will be at Destination Star Trek Birmingham in England this October. Including both Daxes. But not Avery Brooks. Does he ever attend conventions or similar events, or does he want to put DS9 behind him?
Wish I could go.
Somebody created a video for a new opening credits theme, using the music from Space:1999's second season, and it kinda fits;
https://youtu.be/3IpBwlEiI0M
Well, the two shows has their resident shape shifter, so there's that.
It was a good use of editing when they also flashed the red alert signal, like the original 1999 version, had Sisko firing a weapon, like Koenig, and had Odo morphing, as they did for Maya. It was a good fit, in my opinion.
