Why couldn't one of the 39 Federation Starships Destroyed Simply have RAMMED itself into the Borg Cube, would that have worked??

In ST:First Contact, Worf on the Defiant said "Prepare for Ramming Speed" would that have destroyed the Borg Cube?

Keep in mind of just how big the Borg Cube was - ramming may not have stopped it.

Certainly something as dainty as the Defiant wouldn't have. A bigger ship might have been able to dent the cube quite a bit, though.

Yeah, it ain't "dainty", it's "scrappy"!

I don't care how small it is in relation to the Borg cube; I'd say that at warp 9 any ship, even our beloved Defiant, would have put a sizeable hole through the Cube, before it was blown to smithereens. Shields or no shields, that's just too fast and large an object to just bounce off.

In fact, that was exactly what the Enterprise was about to do at the end of Part II. Maybe it didn't occur to the various captains until they were the last ships standing and by then it may have been too late.

Even Riker didn't order it until they seemed literally out of options and the earth's last defense.

Assuming any ship that tried it would be able to get close enough without a) getting blown up or b) caught in a tractor beam!

And even if they did, FAWK the Borg ship would STILL be able to regenerate!
