That scene in the mess tent, with the meat and Frank, is just priceless. My favorite scene of the episode!

It looks like Hawkeye was going to get a psychaitric discharge in this episode. He got very close to it. I think Hawkeye could've taught Klinger a thing or two about being crazy.

As everyone is leaving the OR, there appears to be a fifth doctor in the scrub room. It isn't Spearchucker (and where was Captain Jones in this episode anyway?). The presence of the fifth surgeon begs the eternal question of just exactly how many doctors were assigned to the 4077th?

The lamp above Hawkeye's bed hangs unusually low.

One scene cut from this episode occurs in Post-Op. Hawkeye has Ginger check the breathing of a patient. The patient turns out to be a dog.

I second Frank's question: Just where did Hawkeye get that liver?

Frank tells Margaret he gets jealous of "the fly that walks across (her) upper lip. The cotton tip that goes into (her) ears." That's as sickening as what Prince Charles told Camilla Parker Bowles he wanted to be.

I believe this is the first time Radar says "Yes sir" to Major Hoolihan.

Henry returns from Tokyo with his second doll for his desk. The first doll was the one in red kimono. It stood on Henry's right hand side. The second one wore an orange kimono.

There's a scene where Captain Sherman tells Hawkeye that the surgeon will be going to Tokyo for observations. During this scene, Sherman assures Hawkeye that the psyciatrist's "sense of reality is (his) gyroscope." This is cut for syndication. Later, when Sherman is caught molesting Margaret in her tent, Hawkeye needles him about having gyroscope trouble.

As Margaret undresses, the "Suicide Is Painless" theme is played. Doesn't seem appropriate does it?
