I liked Harry. I thought he worked very well as one of Peter's close friends. What I didn't like was turning him into a psycho. I suppose the LSD issues (Amazing Spider-Man #97-99) laid the foundation for Harry being psychologically unstable. But turning him into the Green Goblin II was a bit much. I realize that Marvel wanted to bring the Goblin back somehow. But this really damaged the character, in that from here on out, Harry Osborn was now mentally unbalanced. But still, Harry was a very important part of Spider-Man's supporting cast. It's a shame he's now gone.
