Now that Batman Beyond is on weekdays I've noticed "Similarities" Granted Spiderman was one of more popular Superhero shows, but some of these...

Both are underbuilt superheroes in Skintight costumes (This could be said of 200 superheroes also)

Both are under 20 and in school

Both have girlfriends who want to break up over their frequent disapearances.

Both can scale wall, and carry a Grappling cord, web fluid.

Any others

Both their careers were started by the death of a close male relative.

Both were turned into Man Beasts by an overzelous genetic experiment.

Batman Beyond had Charaters named, 2-D Man who could strech, Magma man, who looked like mudface on fire, and frost women who could fly. Fantasic Four Anyone.

In both Batman Beyond and Spiderman Unlimited, the creators have moved their characters out of their normal continuity. This means the writers can, basically, start from scratch and ignore anything that's come before! Just as long as they throw a few "homage" bones to us fans.....

(Note: I'm *really* looking forward to the new show. But...it does seem a little more than a coincidence that Spidey suddenly has a "nanotech" costume that is, essentially, Batman Beyond's powersuit.)
