I know I'm jumping the gun a bit, since this
episode won't air until this Saturday.

Anyway, I really hope this episode is better
than part 1, although I'm not holding my
breath.

I guess the High Evolutionary read the Official
Villain's manuel, p.2 paragraph 2...

"If you have the hero tied up and are about
to do unspeakable things to him, you must
first tell him all the details of your plan...
making sure to waste enough time so that the
hero can escape and foil your plans."
