Talk about games that never became real popular
but are still good.

One of my favorites has to be Mystic Towers
(puzzle/adventure game). The scenes,
the isometric view, the sound effects are
simply good.

One of my favourite games of all time has to be Pirates Gold. Pretty simple idea but so addictive. I'd like to see a modern version of it. Oceans Sea Legends was •••• and SSI's Buccaneers would never work on my system.

Pirates Gold was a pretty great game if it's the one I think you're talking about. The one where you get to board ships and have duels and attack towns, et cetera?
Worms was also a great game, like Scorched Earth with a sense of humor. If anyone has this game, try the super-shotgun cheat I posted on the Worms board. You won't believe the result!
Has anyone here played Seawolf? Awesome game, hours and hours of fun. F-19 was fun too. If you wanted to get the Medal of Honor there was a cheat for that... you had to land your plane in a field in Europe and blow away tanks with your guns! You could rack up tons of points that way.
Shadow Warrior is excellent too but seems to be neglected by the public for being Duke Nukem's Chinese cousin. I haven't played DN3D but I think Shadow Warrior is better than most first-person shooters out there.
Also, DARK FORCES! I'm not a big Star Wars fan but any appreciation I have for that universe came from this game. It comes from the Doom era but easily blows Doom out of the water. Some of the add-on mission are beyond belief.

I liked Bard's Tale III. It's probably not as well known as the original, but that game was awesome. All of the successful RPG's of today like Diablo and Baldur's Gate have taken elements from that game, but none come close to story or character customization.

D.W. March, that's the game. I spent hours on Pirates, and I wish someone wuld make an updated variant. Imagine what they could do with it now. I heard rumours that there was meant to be something like that coming out, but so far nothing.
I tried playing both Cutthroats and Corsairs, and didn't like them.
The first and second Gabriel Knight games by Sierra were good. While the second was full of FMV, it was mostly well acted, had a good storyline.

Anyone ever play Gangsters? It's cool! You get to play an Al Capone type Gang Boss!

I've seen it, BF, but it doesn't interest me. It's got a sequel out now, too.
