Can't wait to get this game. I've read a couple reviews and they say that it's awesome!

Never heard of it, was do you do in it, what kind of game is it and who desinged/created it?

By MarkN on Monday, March 19, 2001 - 3:11 am:

You've never heard of the horror novelist, Clive Barker? He created Hellraiser. He's gay (which I didn't know till just 2 years ago) and his books are usually extremely violent and full of strong sexual content, and not of the usual sorts. This is his first foray into videogames and it's supposed to be a great game. You can look it up on various game sites, or just any search engine.

You can go here to see some screenshots from it, and to read an article on Barker under the Exclusives heading.

He's gay! Oh jeeez, I really like the Hellraiser films until now (although number was a little naff).

Peter.

*liked.

To all people who've criticized me for calling Peter homophobic, I present to you Exibit A;

Yes, Peter, he's gay. That is NOT a good reason to dislike his work. I disliked it LONG before I knew he was gay (I'm sorry, but Candyman sucked). I mean, Lord of Illusions was pretty cool, but other than that...

By Peter on Monday, March 19, 2001 - 5:37 pm:

Er . . . Brian, notice the `caricaturing himself` bit, please. Dear, dear.

I kind of liked Candyman 2.

And I do not think anyone has criticised you or anyone else for attacking me. The more nasty things you say the better would be the attitude of nearly everyone here.

Peter.

Candyman 2? Are you nuts? I mean, yeah it was better than Hellraiser 3, but c'mon! No, a GOOD horror movie is the orignal Halloween. A classic. Great music, believable suspense, gratuitous nudity, and just enough left to the imagination. I also liked the first Urban Legend.

By MarkN on Tuesday, March 20, 2001 - 4:46 am:

I've liked pretty much all of Barker's stuff that I read, till I got to Imajica, which bored the hell out of me. So why did I buy its sequel? Sadomasochism, I guess, though I'm in no hurry to read it. I also bought another book of his, Galilee. Not sure when I'll get around to reading that one, either. Did you guys ever see Rawhead Rex? Pretty lame.

By Peter on Tuesday, March 20, 2001 - 11:25 am:

Halloween was pathetic and ••••••. I enjoyed it when I was a kid, but it is really rather tame and silly in the modern day.

Hellraiser 3 on the other hand was probably the best of all. Dax is a much sexier young thing to play the main character than Garak, and the storyline was very good and gripping. It was more realistic and less surreal than the others, and 2 and 4 had no Star Trek Deep Space Nine actors in at all! :)

Peter.

By S.B. on Tuesday, March 20, 2001 - 3:02 pm:

So what do you do exacly in the game?

By Anonymous on Tuesday, March 20, 2001 - 3:21 pm:

They're coping out on the ending of Halloween H20 and making another movie. Apparently the guy Laurie Strode killed wasn't Michael Myers....

The only good Clive Barker Movie, besides the first `Hellraiser', was `Nightbreed'.

SB, here's where you can read a review of the game. Just click the "Action" link under the "PC Genres" heading at the left and then the "Undying" picture link at the top. It'll tell ya all about the game, plus you get 145 screenshots, too!
