There are a couple of games I was considering getting and I would like the opinions of my fellow nitpickers.

First is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I played it on my brother's Playstation and rather enjoyed it. Mainly I was wondering how well the controls on the PC version work.

The other is Riddle of the Sphinx. The blurb on the box sounds interesting, but you know how blurbs are. Along with the very mixed reviews at Amazon.com, this has left me a bit uncertain on whether it's worth getting.

First, Gordon, welcome to NitCentral.

Second, two of my favorite gamesites (I hardly visit any others) are Gamespot and The Adrenaline Vault. Both sites have reviews of Riddle of the Sphinx, but The Adrenaline Vault doesn't have one of Harry Potter yet. Gamespot does. These are both great sites so if you've never visited either one then do so and bookmark them.
