I recently came across and purchased a copy of Ultima VIII at a thrift shop. However, the instruction manual was missing. Anyone know where I can find out the basic controls?

Does anyone else think that in general, game instruction manuals are becoming increasingly sparse. I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers the old Microprose games of lore where Flight sim manuals had a mini enclyclopedia on the aircraft and the theatre you would be fighting in, usually there was also a keyboard overlay or diagram, a separate sheet for HUG guidance etc.

Now, some games are lucky if you get a 20 page manual with a few basic guidance and a two paragraph backstory.

What irks me is all of the racing games that DO NOT HAVE A TRACK EDITOR!!!!! Grrrrr!!!!!

Well, here in 2006, we're lucky to get a 5 page install guided... NO A PDF ISN'T AN ACCEPTABLE REPLACEMENT!
