I just got this game today (along with Starfleet Command), and was wondering how does anyone like it? I read one OK review of it on CNET.com, and they gave it only a 6 rating.

Well, I've tried this game and it sure takes some getting used to. I tried the first chapter (1927) and got to the graveyard but I can't get any keys to open the crypt gate or the castle's gate below, nor can I get out of the graveyard, other than to go to the crypt or castle below. I guess I'll just have to start over and keep trying. Any help would also be greatly appreciated.

I also got 7 games Saturday on sale, and you wouldn't believe the prices! They were:
Strife, $1.99
Jet Fighter, Full Burn, $4.99
X-Com Interceptor, $6.99
$9.99 each for Special Ops: Rangers Lead The Way, Independence War, Deluxe Edition, Nightlong
and Riven, $14.99, with a $10 mail-in rebate! I just hope I have enough space on my measly little 8 gig HD for all of these, as well as Starfleet Command (not the Gold Edition), and that they're all fun to play.

What? Am I the only one who's ever gonna post here? Why hasn't anyone else? I feel so unloved! *pout*

Anyway, if anyone plays this game then could you please help me get through the vampire king's castle, if you're already past it? I've gone all throughout the place, inside and out, and from the lowest levels I can find and up to the belfry, killing everything that comes after me, but I can't find the vampire king, or the holy relic to kill him with, either. Man, and I thought that crossing the old footbridge was very frustrating, till I thought to make the Stranger run across the damned thing.

I think that for now I'll just play one of the other chapters, till I can hear from someone on this one.

Now I've tried all of the chapters but can't get through any of them yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also discovered that you don't need the disks in your harddrive to play, either.

What? Am I the only one on Nitcentral who's ever played this game?

Well, I have now gotten all the way through Chapters One, Two (but can't get the ending's cinematic to play) and Three. I'm still stuck in Four's crusher room, though.
