This board is for any and all type of combat sims: WWI, WWII, ancient or modern warfare, jet fighters, tanks, subs, and the like. What I've got so far are F-16 and MiG29 (but I don't play them anymore so I'm thinking of giving them to my nephews if they want them, or else I'll just sell or trade them), and I got Jet Fighter Full Burn this weekend.
Then there's Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator, where you fly your choice of WWII Allied or Axis aircraft and go up against other aircraft of either side, even if it's your own! Mine's had some problems lately so I've not played it in awhile. If you have a joystick with a twist handle (great for tank games) you can use it to gently line up enemy planes into your sights. But be careful. Even planes that in real life can't return fire when you're behind them can do so on this game.
S.W.o.t.L. rules! ;-)
Has anyone played Delta Force I or II? I have the first but can't get it to play in singleplayer. Any ideas? I'm thinking of uninstalling it and reinstalling it but with the lesser install, not th full one, like I have it now.
Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator 2: Pacific Theater is out now. I got it at Costco and the strat guide and pilot's manual come with it, though I saw it at one videogame store that had it for $5 more than I paid at Costco and they sold the strat guide separately! If it's got a big round sticker saying it's got the SG then it will. It's also a 820mb full installation, the biggest game I've now got. Anyway, I tried it out a little and it looks great, although I need a 3D card for it but it's still passable.
Who has managed to play the demo of
"Jet Fighter: Full Burn"
(Fullburndemo.exe)
I would surely know an anwer
If you want a good and accurate flight sim get hold of IL-2 Sturmovik.
I've read that it's at least as goodlooking, if not better (even overall), than Combat Flight Sim 2.
I use Combat Flight Simulator 3. It's way too much fun.
What about the Blazing Angels games?
