Here are some continuity mistakes I noticed:

At the end of Disc 1, the S-Foils on the X-Wings change instantly at least twice.

At the end of the Defense Grid mission, the large grey moon is on the right at the end of the playable bit, but on the left in the cut-scene.

I'm not sure if this was intentional, but the full distress message from the Corellia Star is missing the repeat request from the Rebel Commander.

Plot Problems:

In The Sewer, why is it that the troopers can find cover but Rookie One and Murleen can't?
Granted, this is "Star Wars", but why on Earth would the Empire make the reactor so easy to access by enemy fighters?

In the trooper-fighting levels on the Terror, how exactly to the troopers know that you're not on their side when they start firing?

This is the first SW game I've ever bought. I've had it for over a year now, first on my Win95 puter, taking about a year off not playing it, then installing it on my Win98 puter. Either way I still can't get past the third chapter, flying the Millennium Falcon thru the mining tunnels, though I did get a little further than before. I can only play this game on keyboard and mouse cuz my joystick won't work with it, even though the game tells you how to calibrate it, like clicking the J key during play, which doesn't work at all. When I started playing it again and got to the mining tunnels, I discovered that it's best not to move the mouse too much, it's being too sensitive to movement, so now I don't hit the sides as often as before.

For those of you who've gotten further than me, what suggestions do you have on any aspect of the game, espec getting thru the mining tunnels? What else can I look forward to? And what are the shortcuts for all of the chapters and finale?

I won't tell you any of the cutscenes, so as not to ruin the story, but here's a tip on Chapter 3:

You're on the right track by nudging the mouse bit-by-bit. I find that using the keyboard helps even more, with more precise control over what you're doing.

If all else fails, let me know, and I'll give you the invul. code.

Thanks, Cougar. Sometimes I get a bit further ahead in Chp 3 but never quite all of the way thru. Go ahead and tell me the cutscenes and invul. code. I don't really care about the story anyway. I figure the good guys win no matter what.

Cougar, I gave up on the Mining Tunnels, though I may try yet again. I found Ch. 4's cutscene on CNET.com so I went there and got all the way to the second disk but I can't get out of the TIE training yet. It's ok, I've only tried it a few times. The asteroid field only took me 2 tries to make it thru. Flying thru that drifting mining thing looked like it'd be tough but I made it thru just fine. I just wasn't sure if I'd keep blowing up. It looks like that game pretty much plays itself so there wasn't much to do.

If you still want the invul. code, here it is:

Any time in the actual game (includes cutscenes) hit Alt-V (I think - it's been a while). If this is the right sequence, the game should pause and ask for a psscode. Type in LETGO, and you should see "Using The Force" appear on the screen. The invul. code is in place.

Here's how you use it: you still take damage, but you hit the + key to erase it. If you want to add damage, say to view new death scenes, you hold the - key.

Thanks, Cougar, but shouldn't those be reversed? The + key to add more damage, and the - to erase it (and why would someone want to add damage, anyway)? Either way, it'll come in handy as I'm trying to navigate the TIE fighter or Millennium Falcon thru the tunnels. That is, as long as I can remember LETGO, but it doesn't seem to be too hard.
