Unfortunately I didn't really like this game. I should have waited for Mechwarrior 3 instead of buying this game. It didn't feel finished.

Reasons: Grainy graphics, poor sense of combat, characters seem lifeless (Even the at-first interesting Jennifer Brockdon), Control is a little awkward.

I wonder if HG2 will be better than this. I hope so, there's a lot of potential in this universe for good games.

I forgot to mention that while in the Mechwarrior 2 games there is a lot of great music (Which was playable in your audio-CD player), in this game there is hardly any music tracks and most of the stuff they DO have is monotonous and boring.

Get the 1.2Beta patch. Imporves a lot especially if you have a card that supports Glide
