A new metroid game was confirmed to be in delvelopemnet by Miyamato himself, but he didnt say weather it would be on the 64 or Project Dolphin. Lets hope for 64...

In case anyone's interested, footage of a Metroid title was shown as a demo for Nintendo's Game Cube in today's Spaceworld conference. This will almost certainly be a real title for the console.
