Beyond the Veil

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Outer Limits: Season Two: Beyond the Veil

After flashbacks of an alien abduction drives him to the brink of suicide, Eddie Wexler finds himself at a mental institute, where Dr. Sherrick is using a controversial technique to treat those who believe they have been abducted by extraterrestrial entities. Eddie and some of the other patients are suspicious of Sherrick and his methods, which forces patients to re-live their abductions in the memory chamber. Some even think that their abductors have infiltrated the institute. Is this just a paranoid delusion or is there an alien face behind the doctor's mask?

Dr. Sherrick’s assistant and the two men hauling the male protagonist away to a criminally insane penitentiary, perhaps among others, are all aliens indeed deriving what information abductees may have regarding their existence. Unfortunately, these individuals aware of the aliens are being locked away as outcasts.

I would have had it that the slender white aliens were endeavoring to remove more bite-size aliens from the abductees--or rather victims. In other words, they were attempting to save us from a less benevolent extraterrestrial species. This conclusion would be my handiwork if I was the writer.

Sounds like something Cancerman and his mooks would have done.
