Mary 25

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Outer Limits: Season Four: Mary 25

Charlie Bouton's last project for the Innobotics Corporation was a sexy female companion robot named Valerie 23. It almost put the company out of business when it went berserk and attacked someone. So his bosses are skeptical when he and scientist Melburn Ross introduce Mary 25, a nanny robot adapted from the earlier model. In order to overcome their doubts, Charlie proposes letting the robot take care of his own children--a move that is met by serious resistance from his wife, Teryl, and his children, Brad and Brook. From the beginning, there are problems. Unlike the human nanny, Carmen, Mary doesn't grasp the subtleties of child care, and Melburn must fine-tune her. But, Melburn sees that the problems go beyond Mary's programming. Charlie is smitten with his inorganic creation and has begun to abuse Teryl--a woman with whom Melburn was once romantically involved. Torn between emotion and intellect, between love and duty, Melburn finds the lines between human and machine becoming dangerously blurred.

The older male protagonist is mangled by the specifically reprogrammed Mary 25, whom is set o prevent the harm of Teryl by the older male protagonist with the indirect psychological harm to the children. As a result, Melburn is welcomed in to be the new husband by Teryl. However, Teryl is discovered to be Valerie 24 reconfigured to resemble the original Teryl, who was previously killed by the older male protagonist.

My nitpicks are as numerically proceeds:
1) In the commencement Mary 25's hands are pinched as she initially stands before the Innobotics Co. superiors. However, her hands are relaxed in the sequential scene.
2) Teryl's dress at the conclusion falls beyond her back and proceeds to fall again beyond her back in the sequential behind-the-shoulder scene.
