These include all action figures modeled after characters. For role-playing items and vehicles, see "Accessories."

To me the oddest thing about this whole line of figures was the first edition Riker, all the way back in '92. The uniform is ripped in several places! The only reason I can find for this is that Playmates wanted to add some variety and not make every figure alike, so they put the rips in the uniform. What else is weird is that the rips carried on into the mini-figure Rikers for the Strike Force and Innerspace lines.

Want to hear a funny story? My dog got into my room, and access to the Enterprise bridge. Needless to say, Odo lost an arm and Picard and Beverly (from the first edition of the Playmates figures) became VERY deformed.

At a recent convention I was at, I spotted some unusual action figures. Namely, a figure of Riker with a yellow uniform, yet labled as William Riker, not Thomas RIker.

Another figure that gave me pause was a Borg combat drone. Hello, Combat Drone? The same Borg that walk like zombies into enemy fire, and despite superior strength, get beaten up by expendable ensigns?

Y'know, its almost impossible to find an origional DS9 morn or an origional TNG Troi.

There is a Playmates doll of Geordi LaForge that's labeled as "VASH" on E-Bay right now.

I wonder who packaged THAT one?

The end credits guy from season 1 of TOS?

BWA HA HA HA HA! :)

Apparently they had some troubles with Mr. LaForge. I have one I bought off e-bay that is labeled "DATA".

I hope people aren't paying a lot for these miscarded figures. Typically mistakes like that don't make an item go up in price, at least according to the guy who writes the collector column in Star Wars Insider.

I'm not sure of that. I think a mislabeled action figure makes it more rare, therefore more valuable.

Not in his opinion. It's like a printing error. If you get a copy of Spider-Dude #121 that has page four without the blue inks, and with a big blob of red in the middle of page 10, even if it's the only one like that no one would want it.

That said, of course the real value of ANYTHING is what someone is willing to pay for it.
