Cableface Yes She was pregnant

By Omer on Thursday, January 14, 1999 - 12:26 pm:

I think B'Ellana gives Scotty a good run for the money as my favorite engineer

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Anonymous on Friday, January 15, 1999 - 11:32 am:

Scotty probably can hold his liquor better than Torres.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Anonymous on Friday, January 15, 1999 - 3:53 pm:

B'Ellana also looks better dressed in nothing but a towel :-P

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Cableface on Sunday, January 17, 1999 - 1:24 pm:

Was the dad anyone in the show? Or anyone in showbiz in general?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Don Ferguson on Monday, January 18, 1999 - 4:48 pm:

Dont Know much about her Hubby but I know he owns a software company out in CA.

Live long and Nitpick!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Don on Monday, January 18, 1999 - 5:03 pm:

hey B is a half klingon.. no one can hold thier own around a bottle then they can ;)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By S. Wong on Tuesday, January 19, 1999 - 9:23 am:

Actually, I think her husband is a casting director (Eric Dawson).

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Mike Konczewski on Tuesday, January 19, 1999 - 12:41 pm:

S--You're right. Their daughter Emma just turned 1 on January 16th.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Catherine on Friday, January 29, 1999 - 5:48 pm:

I believe it is Emma ROSE DAWSON. Coincidence?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Anonymous on Monday, February 01, 1999 - 2:11 pm:

How could it be?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Mike Konczewski on Tuesday, February 02, 1999 - 10:47 am:

I'm sorry Catherine, but I don't get your reference. What's so coincidental about the baby having the last name of the father? Roxanne herself is sometimes billed as Roxanne Biggs-Dawson.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Xena on Friday, February 05, 1999 - 3:47 pm:

TOM AND B'ELANNA HAVEN'T KISSED ALL SEASON!!! DON'T THE CREATORS KNOW THAT THEY HAVE A COUPLE MILLION HOPELESS ROMANTICS OUT HERE(Me included)?!! ;)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Cableface on Friday, March 05, 1999 - 12:49 pm:

Maybe someone can confirm or deny this, but was Roxanne pregnant during the fourth season? She started wearing this baggy overcoat and they never shot below her chest.I was just wondering.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Laura Corcoran on Tuesday, March 30, 1999 - 1:11 pm:

Roxann Dawson is the girl in the grey two-piece with white jazz shoes and curly hair (about the same length as it is now) in the musical film of "A Chorus Line" in the opening auditions! She's barely noticeable - perhaps her film debut?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Mike Konczewski on Tuesday, March 30, 1999 - 3:45 pm:

Laura--good eye! "A Chorus Line" is listed as Roxanne's film debut. She played "Dancer."

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By cableface on Tuesday, May 11, 1999 - 3:05 pm:

I think maybe Catherine is referring to the Rose Dawson part.As in Rose Dawson from Titanic.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Johanna on Sunday, July 04, 1999 - 10:32 am:

I think B'elanna has lost her kick ass
appeal since she started her relationship
with Tom. Dump him sister!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Alfonso Turnage on Tuesday, July 06, 1999 - 6:10 pm:

Oh, I completely agree. Tom and B'ellana had great moments in "Day of Honor," and maybe 2 or 3 other episodes, but after that-nothing interested. It's like TPTB just decided to put them together just so they'd have something to do and then they didn't have anything to do-at least anything I'd really want to watch. The lackluster writing that put them together is one of the reasons that I am almost ready to swear off Voyager.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By !@#$%^&* on Tuesday, July 27, 1999 - 1:31 pm:

I think almost everybody's ready to swear off Voyager, except, that means NO star trek..

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Xena, WP on Tuesday, August 03, 1999 - 12:16 pm:

SWEAR OFF VGR?!! NEVER! VGR's the best! (but TNG comes in a dead second.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Matthew Patterson (Mpatterson) on Tuesday, August 03, 1999 - 6:12 pm:

VGR is a hollow mockery of what Trek once was. I have sworn off it and will only watch episodes involving Kes. Which is kinda hard since she's been gone for three years and they won't rerun the episodes with her. So bye bye Voyager!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By marten on Friday, August 06, 1999 - 9:39 am:

minor cynical comment follows:

Then why do you waste your time idly trying to convince people here that voyager is so bad? There's currently no alternative so people should make the choice, watch Voyager or watch nothing. You chose nothing, so go watch Futurama or something.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Matthew Patterson (Mpatterson) on Friday, August 06, 1999 - 10:48 am:

Futurama isn't on at the same time as Voyager. I watch Drew Carey.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Scott McClenny on Friday, August 06, 1999 - 9:07 pm:

I thought this was SUPPOSED to be about B'Elanna.
Can we PLEASE get back to the point?

Personally I think that she and O'Brien are the
best after Scotty..Geordie spends way too much
time trying to improve his love life..

I am one of those die hard VOYAGER fans who will
be around for the series finale and beyond and
who will never give up on Voyager..you shall have
to tear my Seven action figures from my hands
when I'm dead.:-)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By TomDickHarry on Monday, November 22, 1999 - 11:57 am:

I like B'Elanna, although I don't care much for her relationship with Tom. He's a little on the whiney side for a kick-butt Klingon. Although I can see his attraction for her -- who else on the ship has a girlfriend who can grate coconut on her forehead?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Sheila on Saturday, May 13, 2000 - 6:35 pm:

I noticed that Roxanne looked pregnant and wondered why they didn't write it into the script, like they did with Nana Visitor on DS9. They haven't had as many babies as I would have expected, and most of the kids on board now are imported.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Wannabe Trek Writer on Saturday, May 13, 2000 - 9:53 pm:

They did write it into one episode with the Hirogen and the holodecks (regretably, I don't recall the name... "The Killing Game?"). In that episode, B'Elanna takes on the identity of a holodeck character who is pregnant.

But they didn't write it into the show because it was not an arc they wanted to explore with the character. Then again, the Kira thing was an arc they failed to explore as well.

Happy birthday Roxann!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Adam Bomb on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 5:49 pm:

Roxann was in the "Chorus Line" film? Must haul my video of it out of hibernation. I was one of the few who LOVED the film, seeing it three times in its theatrical release. I saw the play after I saw the film, and I liked the film better. In a reversal of fortune, now that B'Elanna is married, she will become pregnant. Is Roxann pregnant again?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By John A. Lang on Saturday, March 10, 2001 - 10:16 pm:

I can't help but wonder....when is that baby due?

Good grief, how long do Klingon pregnancies last?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By SlinkyJ on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 - 8:51 pm:

I have a strange feeling, she's gonna have the baby on the final episode. I have no clue why, just a cut feeling.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Electron on Friday, June 22, 2001 - 9:27 pm:

She's featured right now in FHM as one of the Sci-fi Babes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By The Zonk on Saturday, June 23, 2001 - 7:23 pm:

Nice pic. But I would prefer that other girl with the faible for serial killers, Lisa Boyle.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Electron on Saturday, June 23, 2001 - 8:41 pm:

A fine choice, but I hope you're already old enough. ;)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By the Fleshophiliac on Saturday, June 23, 2001 - 10:11 pm:

I'd prefer Roxann in the outfit Lisa was wearing on the main page, or better yet, in her featured photo.

And speaking of Lisa, I've been familiar with her for years, since her playboy work, and her bit parts in Bad Boys and the Nutty Professor, but she looks AWFUL on that main page! she looks like an old woman! She looks far better in her own photo, though.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Electron on Sunday, June 24, 2001 - 11:48 am:

Hey, another LisaFan! And you are completely right! IIRC she doesn't like the main photo too.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By The Fleshophiliac on Sunday, June 24, 2001 - 6:49 pm:

I don't blame her. What's with those cheekbones that look so emphasized in that shot? And the way those strands of hair drape in front of her forehead? Ugh.

By the way, where did you hear her say this?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Electron on Sunday, June 24, 2001 - 7:25 pm:

She has a website.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Jayson Spears on Friday, November 30, 2001 - 1:16 pm:

Did you see the way she BLASTED Will Wheaton on the Star Trek edition of the weakest link? Was she kidding? I realize she may not of liked what he said on air about her...but for her to go into a tyraid totally tearing into him...I wonder if it was an act. Anyone else see that?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By muas on Friday, November 30, 2001 - 3:52 pm:

She totally overreacted, if it wasn't an act.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Vicky on Thursday, February 28, 2002 - 4:26 pm:

I'm english. We haven't seen the weakest link star trek special yet. What happened? I'm intrigued! What did Dawson do? Who won? Who was off first. C'mon, spill!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Mylan on Thursday, February 28, 2002 - 6:11 pm:

Well, I'll answer you Vicky, but sense this isn't the most appropriate place to post it, I'll include a spolier notice.
SPOILERS FOR STAR TREK WEAKEST LINK FOLLOW
For the most part it was pretty entertaining. There were some amusing things said. William Shatner was pretty funny, but sadly he was the first one off. Wil Wheaton jokingly said he was in love with Roxanne Dawson, and she over reacted in the "testimonial" saying she couldn't believe he was flirting with her, it's so disrespectful when he knows she's married, blah blah blah. In the end, it came down to Lemar Burton and Robert Picardo. They were pretty evenly matched, but Lemar threw down a fairly obscure answer (IIRC)and won it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By ScottN on Thursday, February 28, 2002 - 7:42 pm:

They picked up $165K or something like that.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Anonymous on Thursday, June 12, 2003 - 11:27 pm:

Levar, not Lemar.

Also Levar Burton also does a kids show called Reading Rainbow. He probably won cause he reads more?

By Justin M on Friday, May 28, 2004 - 5:20 pm:

i really liked Torres in the early seasons, but i found it really frustrating that the writers pretty much abandoned her character once they had the Borgette to work with. Although truth be told, i did like the Borg kids, even if they were an excuse to give Seven more to do.

Did anyone else find it annoying that B'Elanna was almost the same character in season 7 as she was in season 4? Wheras Seven developed waaay more than she deserved?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
By LUIGI NOVI on Saturday, May 29, 2004 - 3:15 pm:

In more ways than one.

But yeah, Torres was the same in season 7 as she was in season 1, let alone 4.

At one time Roxanne-Biggs-Dawson was married to the actor who played Dumar on DS9 (Casey Biggs).
Don't know how long they were together, but when I saw him at a ST Con. someone asked about Roxanne and his reply was.."She's a nice person, and I'll leave it at that."

By G. Buck Jr. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 - 12:55 am:

Anyone who can not watch all episodes of star trek and not just pick out the episodes they like are not the the TRUE BLUE TREKKIE. I have the Star Trek Original Series and The Next Generation Series on DVD. I used to be quite the moron for knocking the Deep Space Nine and Voyager versions until recently. I have the ability to watch any of the Star Trek series streaming from Net Flix. I have in the last 4.5 months crammed 14 years of Star Trek Deep Space Nine and Voyager and found it had lived up to the creators expectations. I have also enjoyed these versions of Star Trek and in the near future will be including them into my collection. I have also watched the first few episodes of Enterprise and it to has appeared I underestimated this series as well. the only one I propbably will not watch and not saying it isn't anygood will be the animated (cartoon) series. So to those who spout off and nitpic something because they think it could be better have no clue to what is entertaining. Folks it is science fiction get a grip the key word is "FICTION" as in not real so get over it. If all you want to do is vent and knock the program please do us all a favor quit watching Star Trek you do not deserve to watch this franchise. If all you can do is be critical of the show and or actors, I would like to see those who seem to think they could do better then please be my guest and try.
