I would be really interested knowing in who Tiny Dancer's Mrs. X is. Linda Tripp,
perrrperhaphaps? (yes, the Max Headroom imitation is intentional.) No, actually, she
seems much more honorable than the aforesaid... just a little joke

Recently, I've been hearing things about realife people, usually suffering from
Alzhiemer's or severe head trauma, who have neural computer links via a neck
implant. Really. Well, it seems that the man currently pioneering this field
(according to Business 2.0 magizine--www.imaginemedia.com) is named...Dr.
Kurtzweil! I would guess that CC's Dr. Kurtzweil was a tribute to this m

What does anybody think about Chris Carter's latest venture, "Harsh Realm"?

I've seen one episode, and if Carter keeps up with the relentless amount of cliches, this show will get old very fast. Think about it. He has a possibility to create an entirely new universe--and what do we see? Cyberpunk. Ooh. That's never been done before.

No faults with the cast, though. Terry O'Quinn (who apparently is on permanent Carter payroll), D.B. Sweeney (who seems to enjoy getting saddled with bizarre Friday-night projects ["Strange Luck", anyone?]), and Scott Bairstow are all fine.

"Harsh Realm" suffers from the same thing that killed "Millenium" -- unrelenting dreariness. I don't think CC realizes it's as much the inherent humor in the X-Files that makes it successful as the chemistry in the leads' partnership. Mulder and Scully work in part because they're funny. Would that Frank Black or Whatshisname were....

Harsh Realm returns? There's really nowhere else to put this, but rumor has it that Fx will pick up all eight of the already-filmed episodes. Eight? Yup. The other five are in the can, but never made it to broadcast. Click here for the full story, such as it is.

Rumour: Bothh DD and GA will leave the show after this season. I even heard that GA will play Agent Starling in the new "Hannibal" movie...

By Christa on Friday, January 14, 2000 - 9:11 am:

The Anderson-in-'Hannibal' rumor has already been knocked on the head - she' can't play another FBI agent, it'd be just too unbelievable.

She is, however, rumored to be appearing in the next Star Wars film as a member of the Jedi Council.

I read in the SW Insider that that rumor is "totally false" according to SWEp2 producer Rick McCallum. :-( He did say he thinks she's a great actress, though, (well, duh, who doesn't?).

Did anyone else think DD did a great job in his movie "Return to Me"? I loved it!
