Cool, first post! I think the Lone Gunmen are the funniest if not the best characters on the show. Whenever you see them, you know a joke or two is going to be made. And they love what they do, too. They are all, I think, dependant on each other. They could not do what they do without everyone else. They are very cheerful and nice people who are eager to help, even when help is not needed or wanted.

How do the Lone Gunmen support themselves financially? All those gizmos they have cost money.

Well, they do publish a magazine/newsletter...

I assume that with all the "kung fu" they have at their disposal one or more is a some sort of programmer-- as I recall, they can make quite nice living... and their own hours... Like some other fanatics, they prob put all their resources into their obsession... and can thus afford the nice "gizmos."

the guy in the suit works for the FCC. The other two own competing cable companies or at least that's what the flashback from 10 years ago seemed to indicate.

I have a feeling that Byers quit the FCC one he became paranoid and anti-government.

Just want to note here that Dean Haglund who
plays Langly was on V.I.P.this week playing
himself..of course the baddies weren't up on
their X-FILES and thought he was Duchovny but
as Haglund said:"..I'm better looking!":)
