Lets talk about the expansive tunnels it looks like Cancerman has under DC and Virginia, how deep are these tunnels? It at least has to cross under the Potamac from the DARPA to the Pentagon.

The Outer Limits board is closed. Just caught the Outer Limits Season 2 ep, "Out of Body". All that William B. Davis needed in that episode was the cigarette.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but way back in the early days, didn't all the Files and fan stuff and books and whatever refer to this guy as the Cancer Man? So how come now he's always referred to Cigarette-Smoking Man? Cancer man sounds way cooler.And didn't that shape-changer guy say that he does actually have cancer? So why the change, i wonder.Maybe CC got threatening phone calls from the tobacco industry......

Chris Carter makes mention of this in the extras in the season 1 DVD box set - he's referred to as CSM officially, it's the fans who called him Cancerman.

I think the latter is better, it makes him sound like a more malignant entity, something to be excised or burnt out. Although I guess there might be some people (not just the tobacco lobby, but also those who're suffering from, or who've lost people to, cancer) who might be upset by the name.
