So, who/what was causing B.J.s spells? Was Cokely (old) possessing her somehow to comit the crimes? Why did she then dig up the old bones (which were incriminating)? And why did Cokely wait to posess her such a long time (until she became pregnant)?

Or did the unborn baby somehow make her do these things (its "born evil")? Why did Morrow then regain herself when cokely died?

Why was Morrow not allowed to abort the baby?

Wouldn't an examination of the words on Morrow's chest with the previous example show clearly if the same person had carved/written them, or if she did it herself? (I can't imagine you can produce the same angle etc. when writing on you own chest - everything would be on its head, hand position akward, etc.)
