By K.N.D. on Monday, November 09, 1998 - 12:36 pm:

Mulder, Scully, and Diana? Worf, Riker, and Troi? Oops, wrong show... ;-)

By Charles Cabe on Monday, November 09, 1998 - 9:18 pm:

Klingons, and Terrans, and Betazoids! Oh, My!

By K.N.d. on Tuesday, November 10, 1998 - 3:32 am:

"Scully, we've *got* to follow the yellow brick road. The truth is out there."
"Mulder, I'm not even sure I *saw* Glinda, let alone..."

By Hans Thielman on Tuesday, November 10, 1998 - 2:58 pm:

Query: Would Scully find the statement "There's no place like home" scientifically unverifiable?

By Adam Chmelka on Tuesday, November 10, 1998 - 4:00 pm:

This episode is shot in letterbox format (like widescreen movies), and is supposedly much brighter than the usual episode. Also, Duchovny and Anderson kiss in it... sort of. (Note: This is a direct quote from the article I read this in. It says "Duchovny and Anderson", not "Mulder and Sully", which might explain it...

By K.N.D. on Tuesday, November 10, 1998 - 6:23 pm:

Gasp! Does Tea know? (Joke, joke. She actually says she's a 'shipper.)

By K.N.D. on Tuesday, November 10, 1998 - 6:28 pm:

P.S. Just wait. All the shippers will get revved up about this ep, and it'll turn out that
they just kiss on the cheek or something... Or, come to think of it, who knows. I heard
somewhere that there will be some sort of serious commitment by the middle of the
season. Like there isn't already.

By Shirlyn Wong on Sunday, November 15, 1998 - 10:11 pm:

Just saw the "scenes on the next episode" of XFiles ... Mulder kisses Scully on the lips, unless he misses his mark again. :-)
More when I watch this next week.

By K.N.D. on Monday, November 16, 1998 - 5:03 am:

Well, now we know what Triangle really means. And on behalf of all shippers
everywhere... I CAN'T WAIT TIL NEXT WEEK!!!!! GR&D

By Charles Cabe on Monday, November 16, 1998 - 12:02 pm:

I hope we finnaly get to see Dana's desk in this one. We've waited 5 years, another week can't hurt.

By Dana Scully on Monday, November 16, 1998 - 12:05 pm:

I really need a desk! Please help! I don't like my new boss either!

By Matt Cotnoir on Monday, November 16, 1998 - 2:28 pm:

huh...is that a joke or something???

By Phil Farrand on Monday, November 16, 1998 - 9:12 pm:

That would be my guess! (Pretty funny joke too, if you ask me . . . not that I'm trying to encourage this sort of thing. ;)

By Secret Agent Girl on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 - 1:16 am:

I'll help you, Dana! Let's everyone write letters to CC protesting the lack of desks or
nameplates for our beloved Agent Scully. Yes, I know The Desk For Dana Fund is
sending one, but they're taking too darn long. ;-)

By K.N.D. on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 - 1:20 am:

PS: Hey, Dana, while we're at it, are *you* looking forward to The Second Kiss?
(Please remember, this is a G-rated site. Be careful how you reply. ;-)

By Anadler on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 - 5:54 am:

'Dana' - I love your e-mail address, too!

By The Twelfth Man on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 - 9:29 am:

Don't forget, in Redux II (on F/X last night), Mulder gave Scully a platonic peck on the cheek.

That should keep you shippers happy for a while.

-12-

By Brian Henley on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 - 11:38 am:

Just you wait, just you watch, just you see. That first kiss in the movie was interupted by that (G-rated site) bee. This second one will get halted by a giant squid, or a bunch of soldier ants stowing away on the ship, or a man eating shark or something.

For the Star Trek set, I'll proclaim that after that honeybee, I now have Kirk's mindset when dealing with the creators:
"Don't believe them! Don't trust them!"

By Mike Johnson on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 - 8:47 pm:

Mulder doesn't kiss. Look back on the end of the preview. If you look close in the lower left hand corner you can see that Scully's hair was curled out. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I Mulder says that he is in some sort of a time warp. If you replay the footage and look close, don't think that Scully would wear her hair like that. But I know it was Gillian. I do think that I might explain it. If you think about it, you can account for Scully, Mulder, CSM, and Spender all on the boat either in some uniform or some sort of clothes or hairstyle(Scully) that obviously weren't even frequently worn after the 1950's. Let alone the 90's. So I don't think that's Scully but some identical to Scully existing in 1939. I know it is psycho but it is the best explanation tath I can come up with. I guess we'll see on Sunday.

By Mike Johnson on Tuesday, November 17, 1998 - 8:56 pm:

Sorry, my bad. The first sentance should read MULDER AND SCULLY DON'T KISS.

By K.N.D. on Wednesday, November 18, 1998 - 3:59 am:

Well I was a little worried, wondering what you meant Mulder wouldn't kiss. 8-) I
hope you aren't right, bu if the friendshippers have their way...
I read a fanfic a Gossamer called "His Little Grey Thing" or something like that. It
theorizes that CC really wants to enhance the MSR, but this little grey creature (no,
not the soft squishy one weighing about three pounds. <g>) keeps bugging him about
it. Eventually we find out that this little grey creature works for the REAL
Consortium. I had no problem believing it!
Dana, I like your email address too! (Query: can us common mortals use it, or only The
Real FBI?)
Long live LINUX!

By Bob Brehm on Thursday, November 19, 1998 - 7:50 pm:

I think Mulder was kissing the Scully lookalike from the timewarp. Is the Dana Desk fund actully part of the Consotium? They really need to get her a new desk. Linux long and prosper.{I could not resist the temptation.]

By K.N.D. on Friday, November 20, 1998 - 3:33 am:

And don't forget Odo's favorite OS, The Great LINUX. (Yes, that was really bad. I'm
going to go post it on the Groaners board.

By Maureen on Saturday, November 21, 1998 - 8:40 pm:

When I saw the coming up next week preview of X-files, it showed Mulder with Scully and he says to her, "In case I don't see you again"..then grabs her and kisses her. Not truly a romantic moment, and I am sure it won't be a huge drawn out thing...Mulder seemed to be on his way somewhere....:) I can't wait to see it, nevertheless!

By K.N.D. on Sunday, November 22, 1998 - 3:35 am:

I know! We know! We can't wait! I'm going sloowly nerotic waiting. I've been on
some shipper boards, and no one seem to think that he actually kisses Scully. We're
just too paranoid, I guess. Besides, PA

By Maureen on Sunday, November 22, 1998 - 5:35 pm:

what is a shipper?:)
