Well, this one didn't do much for me. Oh well.

When Lucy Lawless was killed(?) by the headless supersoldier, Dagart immediately ran to the water's edge to look for her body. I would have been more concerned about the headless corpse that just killed someone behind him.

Speaking of the Headless wonder, just before Dagart began getting beat up, it looked like the Supersoldier was doing a T-1000 impression, between the expression on his face and the way he was walking.

NIT! When Noel (super soldier) is doing that crushing thing to Doggett's face, I distictly heard something crack. Now, Doggett should've been in some serious pain the rest of the ep!

Hmm, Kersch is a good guy? What a turn of events.

Jason, I think Doggett wasn't too concerned probably 'coz the headless super soldier's body must've fallen into the water with Lucy as the final shot in the water indicates ... the hand still sticking through her. Though I don't quite remember seeing it fall in with her. I'll have to rewatch.

Hmm, so Doggett makes a report and they didn't fish out the body of Lucy? Granted that it probably would've walked away from the morgue before Scully gets to it, but still ... at least they'd then know she's back to life like Billy is. Which reminds me, where's Billy?

I was about ready to get sick of the episode, but the ending scenes made it worthwhile. Kersh's comments made it difficult to wonder if the pointless, trivial evens displayed WERE indeed intentionally pointless or trivial (Kersh screwing with Doggett) or rightfully trivial (Kersh revealing the very minor aspect of his knowledge).

Although, frankly, nothing much makes sense, it was cool seeing Doggett and Reyes descend to the basement with Follmer watching.

urgh, some of the scenes were quite gory. Without going into much detail, I couldn't help wonder how these supersoldiers decapitated these people so quickly and effortlessly and how a supersoldier can act after he lost his head. (I didn't want to look too close during these scenes, but it still seemed strange to me. I know a karate chop can break the nerves and thus kill a person, but to chop the head of like a meat cleaver using the bare hands? and why can dogget shoot at knowles without any effect at all, but one grip into shannons insides takes her out?)

Other things I wondered about:
- Shannon kills the two guys (lomas and the other) who she said had been working for the conspiracy, but which the captain said had been working to uncover it. Then she goes after doggett to find the captain, but saves dogget life. So, whose side is she on?

- How can these supersoldiers be killed if even beheading them doesn't stop them? Thats worse than the alien bounty hunters or vampires!

- Scully seems to be getting more and more superficial. She conducts an exam on shannon with a stetoscope for some minutes and concludes she has the same physique as everybody else. No x-rays, no cat-scan, no blood chemistry, no DNA-typing, where mutation would show up better than on the body surface? What did scully expect - two hearts?

- shannon, on the other hand, isn't very helpful. At first, she exclaims that scully as a scientist will be able to follow what she is about to explain. But she doesn't explain anything! She talks about chloramine and that the molecular structure has been changed. This will cause both mutation and fertility. How? What about a little more details or facts?

- BTW, I don't agree with scullys statement that chloramines are harmless. They are known to cause damage to the inner organs, esp. kidneys and liver of children when inhaled. Its also suspected to cause cancers in the long run.

- Quite a turnaround off all concerned at the end. So, Kersh says he is one of the good ones, and even that slick jerk backs off? Will doggett really believe them?
