Did the antomologist (sp?) live or die? As when he was found in that spider web like stuff saying "help me!!!!!" he sounded like he could barley breathe , and Scully was doing mouth to mouth on him, but he did have a smile on his face like he was enjoying it :-) and she did quote him as saying that the kid and his mother were neither human nor bug , more like somthing in between (or some thing like that).

I figured he lived.

I thought this was pretty fun little episode. I'd been talking for the last week two that I might stop watching the show, but this one saved me. I think I'll stick around a little bit longer, if for nothing else but to see Terry O'Quinn show up in a few weeks.

This was a pretty schizo episode--it had the potential for a horror episode as well as comedy, yet was a bizarre hybrid.

Some good lines by Doggett, a neat guest role from Dr. Rocky, and a frighteningly good imitation of "Jackass" save this from the boring plot. Nice middle-of-the-road episode.

The girl seemed familiar. I couldn't place her. Then I watched an episode of Undeclared and realized that it was the girl who plays Rachel on that show, Monica Keena (I've only caught a few Undeclared episodes). At least... I think it's the same girl; if it isn't, the resemblance is uncanny.

Well, I checked the credits again. The girl was NOT Monic Keena. I could still swear that she looks SO familiar...

Also, I don't know why I liked the line so much, but when Doggett says "Now, THAT'S a dumbass!" at the end, I kept the line in my head for a long time. It just fits Doggett to a T.

I liked it when Doggett said: "The brains of some people here are so full of s-hit that's why the flies are attracted to them."

I'm surprised at how relaxed scully handled the entomologist, I wanted to slap this obnoxius guy or at least let him take a shower.

So, for the last 14 years this boy didn't notice that he's like an insect inside??

Why did the mother kill four people, including the dad, and hang them up in the attic - for food it seemed not enough for all that time, - or to prevent being discovered - but why not kill them differently, and why keep the bodies in the attic where they'll be discovered some time? What about the smell - nobody noticed it?

why were the people who had been in a web for quite some time not dissolved? The dad had disappeared several years ago, but only half his face was gone. (then, it would have been even more gruesome than the scenes before.)

The web generally didn't seem to do much harm to the people - contrary to the ep. "in the woods", or what you would normally expect. But then, it was never stated what kind of insect the mother and boy resembled, I just saw sth. with legs coming out of their mouths. Strange that different types of insects (flies, lice, fireflies) obey them, and they can even sling
webs like spiders. Is the mother the queen of all insects?

I just felt disappointed that the boy didn't produce unusual pheromones because of puberty, but was half-insect because of his mother. Maybe because the first solution would be plausible, but the second was another MOTW and reminded me strongly of several x-files done already.

Sorry, but Home is a work of art compared to this trite. Tries to be campy and fails, miserably.
