THIS EPISODE MADE NO SENSE!

Burt Reynolds wasn't bad; I guess he was supposed to be the Devil or the God of Numerology. The killer was a loser, but that was how he was supposed to be.

Too much Italian songs--they all got stuck in my head. Was there some connection I'm missing?

Also, things seemed to be intentionally written wacky. I liked how they showed that, yes, Reyes is a loon. I did like the Stern FBI Guy's line "Do you know that all babies look like Winston Churchill?" Probably Annabeth Gish's best acting job I've seen, aside from "Audrey Pauley." Gillian Anderson is a good straight man, although the killer very easily gets away.

I know that he's all-powerful, but wouldn't Reyes and Scully suspect HOW Mr. Burt got his car into the parking garage without knowing how to get out?

Yeah, this was different but it didn't do much for me.

If anything I'm kind of annoyed that with only a handfull of episodes left that Chris Carter and company are pumping out these off topic shows. I guess maybe they have the list of things "we want to do" and want to get as much crossed off as possible.

At least next week looks like we're back in business.

I loved that scene where the FBI are applauding Reyes' work connecting the murders, only to have her start spouting off her numerology stuff.
I thought they needed a reference there to "Spooky Mulder".

And I didn't get the Italian stuff either.

I thought the songs were french, but I didn't understand the lyrics, either. Anybody can translate them?

I wonder why reyes was deliberately making herself vulnerable by stating that she believes in numerology - was she trying to be more mulderlike? If she said that the murder believes in numerology, she would have gotten her point across better.

The songs were all by Karl Zero, that was the connection I guess..
