Could that be a reference to a Mobius loop? doesn't it have something to do with time travel?
Do you mean Mobius strip?
I think it's spelled Moebius, with an umlaut (two dots) over the "o". Yes, it a strip of paper with only one side.
Actually, its moebius or mobius (with an umlaut).
Moebius loops are Star Trek Technobabble TM.

This episode looks like its now called 'Monday' instead of 'Moebius'
Speaking of Star Trek, what I've read of this episode reminds me very strongly of the Next Gen episode, "Cause and Effect."
Perhaps the "X Files" version of "Groundhog Day."
Was that Ed from 'Northern Exposure'?
I was thinking that this episode was going to be something like "Groundhog Day" based on the preview where the lady said something to the effect of "stay away this time" esp. Mulder.
JEstes--yes. He plays the bomb-toting bankrobber.
Shirlyn--it does have elements of "Groundhog Day" in that one person knows time is repeating itself.
