At the end the guy says that he killed 47 people to sustain himself.
I think this one quailifies as one of the more disturing and 'gross' episodes of the x-files.
That super intendant sure had the mentality of a red shirt as did the cop. Both of them go into this guys house unarmed, despite knowing that there may be something very dangerous about him. For her she stays there so long it's as if she wanted to get killed, for him he should report to the office before going into eery house, and as soon as you see the guys wounds pull your gun on him! Don't just stand there with a "Holy ****!" look.
The main woman he was after that did survive at least showed some good skills but did fail in some areas and nearly dies becuase of it.
Just how did mr injest people survive getting shot in what looked like the heart anyway?
I must say, I didn't care for the way they portrayed Cleveland in this ep. The streets are not all covered in trash, and they do not have hookers lining the streets. One nit I noticed, in the beginning they had what looked very much like a Cleveland patrol car, but later outside police headquarters there is a totally different type of cop car. The patch on the cops arms were authentic, but the badges on the hats were not.
