Phil comments on Gabrielle's accent. There is something weird going on with her speech. When she speaks Spanish, it sounds as if somebody merely took her lines and translated them, word by word into Spanish.

Example: Gabrielle says, "? Has perdido la mente?". The subtitle says, "Have you lost your mind?" It would be more accurate to have her say, "? Has perdido la cabeza? " (translates to: "Have you lost you head?") Or even better, "?Te has vuelto loco?" (translates to "Have you gone mad?") BTW, I apologize but I cannot make a proper inverted interrogation sign.

Also, I am under the impression that Soledad is a woman's name.

Soledad sounds like a woman's name, after all, the -dad suffix signifies a feminin word (ciudad, etc.)

Of course the spelling of "Gabrielle" in the Guide would have to be wrong since, in Spanish, you'd pronounce that "Gabrie'ye"

Yes, her "accent" is terrible, kind of like the French guys in that two parter.

Spanish would be "Gabriela".
