I thought Pusher was near the brink of death at the end of "Pusher".
I was wondering why Linda Bowman looked so familiar. Then I watched "Mommie Dearest" and it became so clear.
Linda's last line (to Mulder) was almost identical to one of Pusher's first lines to the officers arresting him in "Pusher". Nice!
Why did Modell both giving Mulder cryptic clues like "Don't play the game". Why didn't he say "Mulder, here's the story. My long-lost evil sister..."
Soooo. . . this mind control works on each other? That means Linda and Pusher can control each other's minds along with everyone elses? Can you imagine them, if the episode had ended diferently, living together later? "Get me a coffee, Pusher."
"But Linda, you have all the coffee you want. . ."
You'd think maybe their own powers would save them from each other's.
Why did Modell have a problem with Linda's activities when they were no worse than what he was doing himself in "Pusher"? Did he get religion in rehab? I *really* wanted to like this ep, but turning Modell into a good guy badly compromised the character, I feel.
