Nice to see that resistance gal from last year. Hope she wasn't one of the ones killed.

Well, it was nice to see a Holodeck that looked like a Holodeck should.

Max's sword seems kind of light saberish.

So why did they suddenly decide to reveal Liam's alien origins to Renee? It seems like most of that discussion could of been handled between Liam & Auger.

I thought it took longer than five minutes for Liam to grow full size.

So now the Kimera are a proto-species? Can anyone say First Ones or Old Ones? (B5 or Lovecraft, take your pick.;-)

Finally, an explanation for Liam not using his shaquaraval. Apparently staying on Earth causes him to become more human.

The multiple images and swordplay reminded me of the villain from the Highlander: The Raven episode Dead On Arrival. I almost expected one, or both, of them to say, "There can be only one."

I believe Max stuck the pop-up sword in his shirt pocket, not his coat pocket, so how did it get far enough away from his body to go through at that angle?
Also wouldn't these kinds of weapons have some kind of safety mechanism, so they wouldn't go off when hit?

I guess we now have a new acronym, WIEFCRON. What Is Earth: Final Conflict Ripping Off Now?

Just got done watching this one.

I rather enjoyed it. Quite a few things I liked about it. I wish I had the time to list them now.

Well one thing I want to mention:
--Smart Money. I don't know what exactly makes it so cool, but it made my day. Conspiracy Buffs rejoice. They are tracking your Big Ben Franklins! Ahh!

All bets are off!

Season 3 is showing real potential now, what with all the established relationships with the usual suspects crumbling. Da'an has lost the trust of Liam, as has Augur. Liam has lost the trust of most of the Resistance because of that false transmission. Doors is in bed with Zo'or (does that make him Do'ors?). E:FC has become a bit more adult and less cartoonish in its storyline now. It will be interesting to see where the writers take us now - is Da'an to be trusted anymore? Is the Resistance finished now that Doors is working with Zo'or? Is Sandoval really the nasty boy we've come to know and dislike; and what of the secrets Ha'gel said Sandoval has been keeping?

Just two questionable things about this episode:
(1) is Sandoval Kincaid's father, or is Ha'gel and Sandoval was just happened to be the body Ha'gel was inhabiting at the time? Or is something else fueling Kincaid's desire to save Sandoval's life?
(2) is it me, or is Augur lousy Resistance material? He caved WAY to fast to the Amoralist's demand to betray the entire Resistance network. True resistance fighters know that the life of one person is worth sacrificing to protect the whole. Friendship is one thing, but being an accessory to the deaths of dozens of people all because someone has threatened the life of your best friend is just too much to accept as credible. There is no indication that Augur wouldn't have been able to figure out a way to outfox Max and keep him from carrying out his threat - this is a guy who beats the Taelons at their own game on a regular basis, why is a human who spent six years in sensory deprivation (which means he went into the tank before the Taelons came!) such a problem? Either the writers are going somewhere with Augur's weakness, or they are just not bright enough to come up with a plotline that would be credible. I hope it's the former...

1) I don't understand why Liam is becoming more human. If he has a three-stranded DNA like they keep mentioning, how can he change to more human? It almost seemed that the Powers that Be just wanted a fast explanation of why he doesn't use the shakarava so they just made this up as a cop-out.
2) In response to Kyle, I agree completely with your comments about Augur. If he truly understood Liam, he would know Liam would rather have died himself than to have several Resistance leaders die in the trap.
3) Also in response to Kyle, I also was confused about the idea of Sandoval being Liam's father. But I think that Ha'gel's M.O. was to use the DNA of the humans to change into their form. So perhaps Liam has DNA from Sandoval, his mother, AND Ha'gel.

Since Ha'gel can mimic/copy/duplicate other species, even down to their DNA, maybe the Kimera DNA goes into a state of dormancy when holding onto one form for an extended period of time???
