Are there still booster rockets from 1989 floating around up there?

To me that "booster rocket" looked more like some kind a satellite or space station.

If they knew that the booster rocket was falling out of orbit today then why weren't people notified of this, especially paople who would be flying???

So the shuttle crashes & the ID drive explodes and the Taelons still can't find out where it is?

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought Liam said that the drive exploding would destroy the area. All they did was chuck it over a cliff. If it was that powerful, how come the cliff didn't collapse? Didn't Liam say something about radiation?

The news report says that no trace of Zo'or's body has been found. Well duh, he's a Taelon, their bodies fade away when they die.

What was the point of the bright red lights on the black guns? Let your enemies know when you're sneaking up on them in the dark?

Why did the leader keep the skulls? After killing the people I believe he would have to cut their heads off, peel away the flesh and bleach the bones. (Or so I've heard. *gulp*) Wouldn't it just be easier to bury the bodies? Especially since we already heard the guy admit to killing the three. The skulls just seemed to be there for shock value.

Anyone else feel that Liam was a little close-minded to these people's ideals?

Da'an's comment about the meaning of "Keep your enemies closer" being lost in translation was a good commentary on this episode. However, I believe the meaning is to keep them close enough so you can easily stab them, something Liam is unable to do. I guess we can blame this on his Kimeran heritage of every life is special. The same message that made the Kimera extinct.

It was interesting to note the conversation
between Zo'or and Liam during the opening,as
it gave some rather interesting information
regarding the Taelon Synod:
1.The Synod consists of 12 indiviuals(although
this might be really some sort of Inner Council
or Cabinet that Liam and Zo'or are talking about).
Liam says that the recall was signed by all 13
members, but Zo'or corrects him and says that there
are only 12.
2.The Minister Of War is NOT a member of the
Synod, although he has enough power with the Taelon
hiearchy to issue a recall.
3.Any member of the Synod can issue a recall of
any other member and as we have seen earlier even
challenge their standing within the Synod.

It was also interesting to note that the War
Minister had a different color uniform from the
rest of the Taelons.

At first it looked like the missile might be part
of a planned assination attempt on Zo'or's life,
but later in the discussion between Augur and
Renee we learn that it was just a missile that
was scheduled to come down that day and unfortunately in the same area that Liam and
Zo'or just happened to be in at the time.

Zo'or has certainly come to respect and trust
Liam as he allows him to pilot his personal
shuttle.

I thought that over all this was a great episode
for Anita la Selva to show Zo'or as being a bit
more sympathetic than usual.:)

T'thon was also the first Taelon I have seen with a side arm (I think thats what was hanging off of his hip).

Also, the War Minister said that he had arived from the Maruva (Spelling? Pronunciation?) Galaxy. If interdimentional traval is so fast that you can hop a commuter Portal between galaxies, and the Taelons are still loosing the war, and teritory, the Jaridians must have some form of FTL travel. Unless this war has been going on for well over 200 million years (the travel time to Andromeda, the nearest galaxy to our own, at light speed).

If the Jaridians didn't have FTL tecnology of some kind, the Taelons could just retreat two or three galaxies away, and wouldn't have to worry about the Jaridians again untill two days after the heat death of the Universe.

These Enclave people supposedly had NO contact with the rest of the world since 1990. Yet, the leader has a global and a stockpile of laser rifles. I don't think so! Lasers like these didn't exist in 1990(they still don't last time I checked)and globals were invented by the Taelons.

Finally got to see this one last night. 1:30am. Da'mn WGN.

Well, anyway I kind of enjoyed this one. But it was nit city.

-The rocket booster. 1989? What did we launch then that looked like the first stage on Saturn V.

-The group's leader having futuristic weapons. This guy has an interesting philosophy: technology is evil. These people are trying to leave my perfect world, so I'll use the evil technology to stop them.

Bad + Bad = Good?

A common idea but not the most logical.

John, I believe the globals are human devised technology. There is nothing at is that alien about them. The technology used in them is available now.

I'm not sure what to make of T'thon. Different side of the Taelons that we haven't seen before.

Oh, and I agree with Da'an about the final line. That saying always seemed like a nosense cliche to me.
