Amazing that Julius refered to his own time period by the modern calendar. Not impossible given his experiences, but odd. I'd have expected him to use the calendar of his day, then correct for Liam & Renee's benefit.

Julius asks Zo'or why he ignored Ma'el's warning, but wasn't it the previous leader of the Synod who brought the Taelons to Earth?

Anyone else groan when Auger argued that they shouldn't let Julius destroy the mother ship? Sure, Auger's analysis may have been correct, but Julius had said that there was a record of this and the Taelon's on Earth would have known it was Ma'el's doing, not Humanity's. Also wouldn't Ma'el have considered the same retaliation happening? It's possible Ma'el had other surprises in store. Not to mention humans developing defensive weapons against the Taelons. No wonder the Resistance is effectively dead with wimps like Auger making the decisions.

So why didn't the Taelons abandon the mother ship?

Yes Ive watched the episode and was stunned that Auger said that but not surprised there have been a few times before in the series where kincaid saved the taelons and the commanality. I think its ridiculous that he keeps saving them even thogh hs in the resistance ! If the French resistance operated this way we would be saying heli to the fatherland everyday !
