Subterfuge

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Earth: Final Conflict: Season Three: Subterfuge

Summary: Zo’or (Anita La Selva) and Sandoval (Von Flores) implement an elaborate plan to assassinate T’than (Michelle Nolden), the Taelon War Minister.

So thats what the inside of a Portal looks like.

I am confused by how the Portal stasis thing works. In the final scene, when the stasis part breaks down, T'than seems to be affected instantly and severly, but later recovers. The under cover sculpter is in pain, but seems to be able to deal with it. She later dies, aparently because Sandoval designed that implant to kill her. Liam is never affected in any way.

Is this because of the Taelons energy physiology?
Does any Human need to be in stasis?

I am also interested in how people interact with the Interdimentional "Slipstream" the Portal creates. It appears to be a round tunnel with a perfectly flat floor. There is air, but no air resistance (is that because the Portal was "stuck" or because you don't move relative to the Slipstream?). If they had run for the vaneshing point would they have come out of the Portal at the other end?

I wonder if the beginning, when the South American
Companion and his Protector was killed, wasn't meant as a tribute to the scene in ST:TMP where
they showed the transporter accident,besides,of
course,setting the main plot up.

I finally got to see this one (thank you WGN). Surprisingly good.

I could have done with Sandoval's secret sex agent but I guess she was needed to move the plot along.

I found the portal technology displayed here horrible.
-You can breath, but you can't survive in portal space.
-You don't go anywhere when in transit? I guess this could be summed up the "malfunction" but it still seemed strange.

The stuff with Augur didn't seem to serve a purpose to me, except to show that Liam's weapon can be used to save the day.

Why does Augur keep using the holo-interfaces. All they do is say lies (like the delemma stuff) and argue with the commands you give it.
