My nitpicks are as numerically proceeds:
1) I.G.'s shirt is unbuttoned when he is immobile and in the junkyard, which was caused by Claw's removal of I.G.'s main computer chip, but is later buttoned after I.G. is self-reactivated and sits up.
2) Near the conclusion of the film I.G. is by Claw's limousine's passenger window in a close-up shot. In a far-off sequential scene, though, I.G. is merely hanging onto the hood of the limousine and is not peering through any windows.
3) I.G. is knocked for a loop and consequently clasps onto the bumper of Claw's limousine. Initially, he is sliding on his heels. However, you can clearly see I.G. is sliding on his belly during sporadic moments.
4) Claw's limousine is scraped on its side. But when he and his minion return to their headquarters/business building, the immense scratch has inexplicably vanished.
5) I.G. at no point hollered, "Go, go umbrella!", yet an umbrella still emerged as he and his love interest were plummeting to their deaths. How convenient.
Answer to Nit #5
Actually, I.G. said "Go, Go, gadget Parasol. A Parasol is another name for an umbrella.
I still prefer the cartoon version of this... Don Adams is the only true inspector IMHO. But they broke the longstanding tradition of I.G. THEY HAD DR CLAW'S FACE ON SCREEN!!!!!!!!
Intresting comment: Dr. Claw was an unseen villian in "Get Smart"
He was NOT unseen.
Quote:Not "Craw", "Craw!"
What annoyed me was simple things they could have fixed.
Why wasn't madcat a tabby cat?
Why couldn't Penny have a laptop?
Why couldn't claw say the line 'I'll get you next time, Gadget! NEXT TIME!!!! (insert evil demonic laugh)'
Instead of 'I'll get you next time, Gadget! Do you here me?! I'LL GET YOU!!'
And a few hundred other things.
WHY? WHY? WHY? do they continue to insult us with these movies based on cartoon characters?
The whole movie was a nit!
I had a male relative who was nicknamed Inspector Gadget cause of the coat he wore.
I love that the second Inspector Gadget movie was so cheaply made that not only was French Stewart playing Gadget, but that they could no longer afford Michelle Trachtenberg playing Penny, so they had to settle for Caitlin Wachs.
Wasn't a bad movie. The first one, I mean.
