Well, he's gonna do it. Cameron is gonna take Red MArs, one of my favorite novels, and turn into two ultra shitty movies. That BLOWS! He'll probably cast Mark Wahlberg as John Boone and Kristen Johnston as maya or soemthing. GO IT'S GONNA !
WHAT? You're kidding right? Not Cameron! I hate Cameron, that two-timing sleazebag! He's gonna screw it up, I know it.
Brian - you'd rather have Rita Sever as Maya, wouldn't you?
Padawwan: Frankly, yes! You saw the pic of her I posted. The one with the intense gaze. Wouldn't you?

First of all what does his personal life have to do with his movie making ability. Second, cameron is a genus, he gave us The Terminator, Aliens, and The Abyss. Would you rather have Michael Bay make it into "Armageddon 2".

. . .Besides, he's had way more than two wives :o)

Yea but I have not sympathy for those wives. His wives were (in order)
Gale Ann Hurd
Kathren Bigelo
Linda Hamilton
Suzy Ames
All of these women got involved with him while he was maried to the previous one. Anyone who gets involved with a person who cheated to be with them, diserves what they get.

Would that include Ms. Hurd? Of course, she might have gotten involved with him while he was *DATING* someone else...
Actually he was married to a woman before Gale Ann Herd, They got divorced when he was working for Roger Corman. It was their that he met Herd, who was also working for Corman. I do not know if he met Gale before or after that first divorce. I guess that also means that I should have sympathy for wife #1.
There are really too many Brians here. I wish "Brian" would come up with a more distinctive name, instead of looking like Webber, BrianA or BrianB not being bothered to type their full name.

FRANKLY, you say... hmmm... anyway, I have never read the Red Mars books, I'm not likely to watch any screen interpretation, so such fortunes would not affect me.
Ok, from now on I will post as Brian Fitzgerald.
Has anyone heard anything about this project lately? I heard was it was going to be a unique project. One part TV miniseries and one part IMAX film. Sets and props would be shared between the two and Cameron would direct the IMAX, but not the TV part (Making him the first big hollywood director to do an IMAX flick). The last thing that I heard was that Cameron showed some early designes that he created for Mars equiptment to real life aerospace enginers and they were VERY impressed with his ideas.
I'm guessing that this is another project that went nowhere.
