My dad got this on DVD (yes, DVD), and I wathced it yesterday. FUNNY!
I loved it! It had all the neccesary elements of a good Troma release (i.e. gratuitous violence and foul language and poor film quality), as well as the neccessary elements of a Matt & Trey project (gratuitous nudity, freaky musical numbers, and continuous references to things that only Coloradans would get).
Shpadoinkle!
Yep it's pretty much confirmed now. I'm the only one here who has ever seen this flick, this cross between Oklahoma! and Friday The 13th Part 2.
I guess you can just delete this JD!
Nope, I saw it. Found it on in a graveyard slot when some TV channel did a South Park night. And it does indeed rock......
Hey, I've seen this before! My friend Kit has the DVD (He's a big fan of the South Park guys and Troma). One of my favorite parts was during that one song where everyone was arguing about who was singing off key, and people started throwing around terms like "relative minor" and "Mixolydian scales" (I'm minoring in music at UNT). I was laughing my butt off during that scene and everyone else in the room was like "huh?"
One other thing, according to Kit, the whole thing about Alfred Packer's horse Lee Anne running off was some sort of analogy to Trey Parker's ex-girlfriend Lee Anne, who apparently dumped him just before he started writing this movie.
