Saw it Wednesday. Loved it. I didn't think I would laugh much or that it would be funny, but that I might merely find it fascinating or interesting because it was a documentary about Jerry Seinfeld's post-TV series, post-marriage life, and how he is trying to create new material from scratch, but I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF! I didn't care for Seinfeld, but I've always liked Seinfeld's standup, and the documentary divides its time between Jerry and an up and coming comedian named Orny Adams.

This Orny Adams guy is HILARIOUS!! He is a frustrated, sometimes angry guy whose annoyances with life fuel his material. We also see Orny come under the wing of legendary manager George Shapiro, who managed Andy Kaufman, and was played in Man on the Moon by Danny DeVito.

There are also numerous appearances by Colin Quinn, George Wallace, Chris Rock, Bill Cosby, Jay Leno, Gary Shandling, Robert Klein, Kevin Nealon, etc., in which we see Jerry chat with his comrades in comedy over dinner at comedy clubs, sharing their observations and experiences in comedy, etc.

See this film when it comes out. It's both informative and funny as all hell.
