First, let's get the bad stuff out of the way.
1. For the most part, the animation isn't of very high quality. In some spots, it's like one of those Saturday morning cartoons from the 70s.
2. The looks of some of the characters isn't right, particularly Colon and Nobby. Plus, the Archchancellor and the Dean have rather insufficient beards for wizards.
3.I'm not sure I care for how they altered the ending of the story.
But otherwise, an incredibly faithful adaptation. Most of the voice acting is top notch. In particular, it was a smart idea to have Christopher Lee do Death.
I'm not all that familiar with rock music, so I wasn't sure which groups certain looks came from. I think the one in the Pseudopolis concert was suppose to be Blues Brothers and the Sto Lat concert was suppose to be Jimi Hendrix. Can anyone identify the others?
