I really don’t like David Spade, but I when I saw Joe Dirt, I actually thought some of it was pretty funny. (It and Deuce Bigalow, Male Gigalow are the only films with Saturday Night Live alumni that I actually liked at all.) Since I staffed this one yesterday, I decided to stay and watch it out of curiosity.

Most of the jokes were not funny, but it didn’t make me roll my eyes as much as Charlie’s Angels 2 did the next day, and there were some nice "Awww" moments as Dickie bonds with both Grace, and her two kids, Heather and Sam (played by Scott Terra, who played young Matt Murdock in Daredevil).

Seeing Dickie’s Celebrity Boxing match with Emmanuel Lewis was also not bad, in part because I know that Emmanuel Lewis holds a black belt in karate. And of course, Alyssa Milano, looked her usual awesome self. (And Mary McCormack is pretty hot too.)

I wouldn’t pay to see this, but at least I wasn’t as desperate for it to end as I was Charlie’s Angels 2.
