I thought it rather odd that after Sebastian and Flounder help the newly-turned-human Ariel reach the surface, Flounder props himself up against a rock and begins gasping...for air!
Speaking of Flounder (and not wanting the awful sequel to have its own board), when he's all grown up in the second movie, shouldn't one of his eyes have migrated to the other side of his mouth? I'm sure all the kids out there would've loved it...
Well, Flounder isn't really a flounder, that's just his name. What fish species he is is unclear...
When Ariel is turned human, you can hear a tearing sound when her tail is turned into legs! The original story this is based on was much more gruesome, and i think they described a tearing in that book.
