A very funny film in which two rich commodities brokers, the Duke brothers (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) manipulate the lives of their managing director Loius Winthorpe (Dan Aykroyd) and street hustler Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy). Also starring Jamie Lee Curtis as the "prostitute with a heart of gold", Paul Gleason and Denholm Elliott. Rated "R" for language, nudity and adult situations.

Don Ameche made a nice comeback here. He went on to win the Oscar for Cocoon.
Ameche and Bellamy had walk-on (or better said, sitting-down) roles as the Dukes in Coming To America.

There is one shot of Don Ameche early in the film that's printed backwards. Did the producers think they were working on Star Trek?
In the film, Winthorpe and Valentine exit a cab on Church Street in front of the World Trade Center. (I watched in February 1983 as that scene was being shot.) They are supposedly walking toward the Commodities Exchange, which I believe was located in One World Trade Center. However, in the shot of them walking through the Trade Center Plaza allegedly toward One WTC, they are actually walking away from One WTC back toward Church Street.
