Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Movies: Comedy: Kevin Smith movies: Clerks II

Kevin Smith has been saying for over a year, that if his buddy and frequent co-star Jason Mewes (affectioantely known to fans as Jay a.k.a. the letter J) could stay sober, he'd be willing to write another Jay & Silent Bob flick for him.

Could this be it? And when I post this will I know what sound thosuands of nerds simultaneously orgasming makes? ;-)

That's a pretty sick way of puttting it. One that gives me a bad mental image. And probably inappropriate for these boards, Brian.

By Brian Webber on Saturday, August 28, 2004 - 2:33 pm:

Well, OK, how about Kevin Smiths' own words?

I have an alternate title for this film.

Fahrenheit 7-11.

:)

The good old Archimedes scream: "Eureka!"

Trailer's up. Rosario Dawson bounces around in a tank top. Moderator, it looks like this movie will be titled Clerks II, as they have dropped the "Passion" riff. Perhaps a name change is in order for the board? :)

ABC's critic Joel Siegel walked out of a screening yesterday, 40 minutes into the film. Read what Smith says here.

Keep in mind this is the same Joel Siegel who loved Cobra.

The car, or the movie?

By Snick on Thursday, July 20, 2006 - 1:39 pm:

Prolly both.

Siegel and Smith argue on Opie & Anthony, which you can listen to here.

Chicago-sun times gave it a decent review:

I was actually hunting for a review from Roger Ebert, but I guess he's away.

He's recovering from cancer surgery. Don't know if that will keep him from eventually reviewing this, though.

I watched this movie during the quarantine and I have to say it was pretty good, as good or better than the first. Rosario Dawson was fantastic, big surprise, and her facial expressions while talking to Dante in her office were hilarious. The movie had almost every character from the first movie, which is rare in sequels, so the it flowed quite nicely from the first. There were other things I wanted to mention but I seemed to have forgotten. Great flick, go watch it!
