A late eighties teen car race movie. The teen's high school is trouble and will be shut down if they cannot raise 200,000 the bad boy convinces the preppy student president to bet on him to riase the money until the local bad guy cheats them out of the money and his car.

Fortunately the principal is a former street racer hero from the fifties who hid his car under the football field after he had defeated the bad guy in the Twin Citie's run.

The bad boy and the preppy girl take off in the hero car and defeat the clock, save the school and let the principal get egg on the face of the bad guy one more time by having the bad guy pay the way for the bad boy to go to college.

I know my description of this movie is kinda confusing but this movie is that forgettable except for some nice cars and the fact that they pull the same trick that is later used in 2 fast 2 furious.

In this movie they pull the hero's 59 chevy into a car wash rinse the red paint off and have a large number of other late fifties street rods come out the other side to confuse the cops, similar to how the heros in 2f2f pull into the warehouse and all the ricers come flying out.
