According to IMDB, this one should be coming out later this year.

Well I saw it yesterday and thought it was hilarious. I particularly enjoyed the melodramatics of the vicar.

BTW, during the opening credits, anyone else notice in the picture showing Gromit at a graduation the name of the school? It was Dogwarts.

I thought the voice of the vicar sounded familiar and I've now found out why. Looking the movie up on IMDB, I learned he is voiced by Nicholas Smith. He's probably best known for his role as Mr. Rumbold on the Britcom Are You Being Served?

Am I the only nitpicker who has seen this film? That might explain its mediocre box office take.

By Snick on Monday, October 17, 2005 - 10:26 am:

Nope, I saw it.

By TWS Garrison on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 1:10 am:

Well, I saw it. But I was the only person in the theatre.

I loved the Wallace & Gromit shorts, but had a real hard time getting through Chicken Run. I watched it over the course of something like three nights.

Seeing as I rarely go out to the movies anyway, it won't kill me to wait until this comes out on video (where I bet it will be a huge hit!)

By Gordon Lawyer on Friday, February 10, 2006 - 7:41 am:

Wallace and Gromit dominated the Annies, a good indication that it'll win the Best Animated Feature Oscar over Corpse Bride and Howl's Moving Castle.

I saw this movie. Loved it immensely! I enjoy the soundtrack!

Nothing much to say nitpickingwise, except for a changed premise: Wallace no longer drops through the floor into his pants hanging from the ceiling. The pants are now put on by automation after he is seated at the table.

By Gordon Lawyer on Monday, March 06, 2006 - 6:16 am:

How his pants can be put on when he's sitting in a chair is something we probably shouldn't think too hard about.

It's official. Nick Park has gotten himself another fancy bookend.
