Ju-On does NOT mean a grudge. Well, I guess you could use it, but the more accurate translation is a rage. Which makes a better movie title.
Anyway, correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't Ju-On a rage that consumes fed-up females like battered wives or women tired of the double standard? If that's so, then only the woman should be doing the killings. But Toshio, or whatever his name was, killed as well. I didn't think Ju-On applied to boys. Is this a nit, or do I just translate Japanese very very poorly?
