From Fox.
A very nice little movie, with a not-so-subtle rant against today's "profit at all costs" mentality.
Some nice voice work by the cast, particularly Robin Williams (duh!) and Mel Brooks.
My favorite short gag: a damage robot singing "Daisy" in slowed-down mode, ala HAL.
Probably won't see this until it comes out on DVD, but some of the characters remind me of a toy I had as a kid -- "Thing Ding". It was a little factory with a rotating conveyor belt where you'd turn a crank and it would "Ding!", and you'd take a piece off the belt. You'd take turns constructing your little robots (man, woman, baby, dog, cat, bird) and I think the first one to contstruct 3 items won. I'll be interested in hearing the DVD commentary to see if it has any relation.
